Kingaroy is situated on the junction of the D’Aguilar and the Bunya Highways and is approximately 210 kilometers or about 2½ hours drive north-west of Brisbane and about 111km north of Dalby.
There are limited public transport options to get to Kingaroy, with a bus service that runs from Brisbane to Kingaroy three times a week.
The drive to Kingaroy is a rural and scenic drive from all directions with mountains, farmland and small towns throughout the journey.
Accessibility
The town’s CBD has recently been transformed into a more accessible place for everyone. The footpaths have been made wider and smoother, easy for anyone with a disability.
