This laid-back, budget friendly event kicks off the South Burnett's favourite bacon loving festival on Friday night August 15th.
Focusing on bringing our community together for just $10+BF, soak up four hours of homegrown artist entertainment, food and market stalls, plus smell the aroma of the Australian Barbecue Alliance as competitors fire up their smokers.
Forget Beale, Peel or Bourbon Streets, take a stroll down Bacon Street and feast on all things BACON!!

What better way to start your BaconFest Saturday than with a wholesome BIG BACON BREAKFAST!

Welcome to Bacon Country! Here in the South Burnett, we celebrate our love of all things bacon each August at BACONFEST!
Kingaroy's Memorial Park will come alive with the aromas of the Australian Barbecue Alliance SunPork Smoke Off, celebrity chef demonstrations, bacon eating competition and food & market stalls. There will be a stack load of fun to be found in the youth activities and family zone. Plus enjoy all day live entertainment with our Homegrown Artist line up headlined by Golden Guitar winner Troy Cassar-Daley!
